BUYER BEWARE. Navigon is a dishonest company that has abandoned thousands of customers who purchased GPS devices in the last year. Their Navigon USA (Chicago) site provides no hardware support, map updates or customer support. The sad part is that their GPS was a good product and offered innovative solutions to the industry but without software, map updates & warranty support, the product is useless. Buy from this company at your own risk.

Bought one last fall from Newegg, great little starter unit, you get one free map update when you register it, and create account at navigon’s web site. There are some other goodies you can get for an extra fee(s)… and from what I understand, it is based on Windows CE, so, you can ***** it, and load other navigation programs on this unit. Have fun!

its not internet. there is an antenna built into it. it connects via satellite. if you cant get reception with the built in antenna, it comes with a bigger one you can ***** in too,
